   they have removed lots of stuff on the final release. they removed the design on the left side of the explorer, they removed those awesome wallpapers, and they changed the glow on the start button.

   @TheDrummerDude17 Vista was built from scratch, and so its neither a “visually enhanced xp” or a “visually and functionally reformed Vista”. As a result it is a massive improvement on both. Yes they took the looks and some design elements that were good from vista, but these were written as a new os and are not just Vista coding updated

   Anyhow: such off-topic arguments are used by those who have to divert from the fact that they don´t have a clue about the topic – and here it´s for sure that the topic is Windows 7 and what really improved in relation to Windows XP (if one would tell that 7 get´s observed absolutely and not relatively it would already show that 7´s no improvement but even a decrease in efficency by diverting on the useless).

   Your “agruments” consist of “HA HA HA”, “that´s amusing” and other statements which show that you can´t even tell what really has improved since XP – you have to defend Windows7 since you paid money for it – and therefore it can´t be bad.

   Obviously you don´t even know that Windows 7 was free to test it. “And who uses the 98 theme on XP? Seriously!” Everyone who doesn´t waste time on the looks of an OS. Of course not people like you since you even use a desktop wallpaper… As renamings like superbar and windows action center show it´s not the content that changes very much but in major the form.

Yes, there were several things changed from Vista to 7. Why don’t people take the time to look these things up? I’m sure you haven’t even used 7 yet.
