As Microsoft will soon come up with the new version “Window 7″, everyone is looking forward to it. According to Microsoft the new version is “Simpler and Easier” to use, and will be available on October 22nd. That is way most of the manufacturer are offering free upgrades to Window 7 so that user don’t stop buying computer the new (OS) operating system is released. Buying a new computer now may put you in hassle while upgrading its OS in the future. One must be very careful while installing Windows 7 as you may lose your data and programs.

Windows 7 is coming up with new features like switching between programs to recording TV, Windows 7 simplifies the way we use our PC—and the way our PC connects with the world. Some product features of Windows 7 may require advanced or additional hardware. It is also important for us to know the upgrade chart, most Vista users will be able to upgrade in place to the corresponding 32- or 64-bit version of 7 but if you are using windows XP than the Windows 7 installer will not retain your data and programs if you’re not updating from the corresponding version of Vista.

To run Windows 7 in your computer make sure that our PC has sufficient memory. Minimum recommended specifications to run Windows 7 are – 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor or higher, 1 GB of system memory or more, 16 GB of available disk space, Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme), DVD-R/W Drive, although these specifications could change.

Now before buying RAM memory for Windows 7 make sure the RAM memory is compatible with the motherboards. To know about the compatibility of RAM with the motherboard from the MOBO manual or you can perform computer system scan. Also be careful about the after sale policy or the warranty policy of RAM dealers or the RAM manufacturers. This will help you in future if at all you face difficulties with the RAM.
