This quick video Tutorial shows you how to create a backup system image of your entire drive(s) in Windows 7.The tutorial also demonstrates how to create a boot repair disc in Windows 7.

    @hahaha10001 it is an image file – if you look in a mirror you see an image of yourself – i don’t use this but on mine the desktop icons even come back in the same place – YES – everything

    When you make a backup your already putting it on a new hdd so doing it like that will serve your purpose of copying all the data on a new hdd.

    Or you can use an external hard drive and put everything on there then hook up your new hdd and restore everything on there. Both methods will work i believe.

    Any idea how to create a partition recovery in windows 7 .
    like when you buy any computer on the store they come with recovery partition…
    so if you know how to do it let please i’ll appreciate it

    hey ive been trying to create a system image. but cant. i go through the process, then it says back up failure. any suggestions???? yes the external is bigger than my main drive. is it because im including the system reserved in it????
