How to embed fonts into Powerpoint 2007 – Here we will explain the steps in embedding or saving your fonts in the presentation.

Office 2007 and office 2010 are great as they have several new features and support for new styles and fonts.But if the receiver of the presentation does not have office 2007 or 2010 and instead has a older version like office 2003, then there may be compatibility issues as the earlier versions may not support such new fonts or styles.

How to embed fonts in Powerpoint 2007?

Here is how you will embed the fonts into a presentation prepared using powerpoint 2007.

  • 1.Click the Office Button at the top left corner of Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.
  • 2. Click “PowerPoint Options”.
  • 3. A window will open, which contains different options, select “Save” from the given options and click it.
  • 4. Check the box next to “Embed Fonts in the File”.
  • 5. Click OK.
  • 6. After embedding the fonts, save the PowerPoint Presentation normally.
  • That is it. You will now be able to see same set of fonts, even if you make the presentation from a different computer.

    But note that only true fonts included with Microsoft Windows can be embedded.If you have downloaded fonts from iternet and if it has has any license restrictions, you cannot embed them in the presentation.

    You should also remember that the size of the powerpoint file will increase if you save it with the embedded fonts.
