BSNL withdraws annual Plans for Landline and WLL services

Written By: admin on August 21, 2010 No Comment

BSNL had recently announced a Withdrawal of a couple of its annual Plans for landline and WLL services. These are Plan-1000 that was available for Rural users and Plan-1800, available for users in metros.

As per the BSNL notification the two annual plans will no longer be available for prospective customers. All existing customers subscribed to these two annual plans will be migrated to Annual Plan-600(Rural) or Annual Plan-1200(Urban) respectively, automatically! It would have been better if BSNL sent out a notification mail to these users and asked their interest on the new plans rather than migrating them automatically!

However, BSNL has announced a proportionate credit on account of differential Annual FMC adjustment for the remaining committed period may be given to such customers, from the immediate next billing cycle.

Are you a BSNL user subscribed to any of these plans? Then you will see a change in the billing amount due to this adjustment.
